From Chiropractic's perspective, society's new interest in a more holistic, more personal-responsibility based approach to health is a large step in the right direction.  Fundamental to Chiropractic is respect for the body's natural ability to attain and maintain optimum health.  We believe that our role is more of a facilitator than a healer.  We help facilitate healing and health by working with you to create optimum conditions; the body is then able to heal itself.  How these optimum conditions are created requires commitment and teamwork between our doctors and you, our patient.  Restoring normal spinal, muscular and nervous system function and adhering to a healthy lifestyle are vital to creating correct conditions for your body to regain its health and to maintain wellness.

Clinical experience has demonstrated to us, the profound impact that the your active involvement in your own recovery can have.  When you take responsibility for your health, remarkable things can happen!  Together, we will strive to achieve your goals for increased health and wellness.

Dr. Kara Zajac has been involved in the chiropractic profession since 1991.  She began working as a chiropractic assistant in her hometown of Tweksbury, Massachusetts, while still in college.  Her interest in natural healing led her to Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia.  Upon graduation, Dr. Zajac worked in Chamblee, Georgia, where her clinical focus was low back pain management.  Now she is opening her own clinic that will be focused primarily on family care.  Dr. Zajac specializes in pediatric care, back pain management, and sports related injuries.

Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Layla Johnson relocated to the Atlanta area in 1999. After an early career in corporate America, Layla became interested in the art of massage, the body’s function, and most importantly stress reduction. She was naturally drawn to massage therapy after receiving bodywork and discovering first hand the effects of healing touch and relaxation. Layla graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 2004 after studying Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue Therapy. Her focus is stress reduction, pain management, and overall relaxation through soft tissue manipulation and trigger point therapy. Layla’s integrated approach to wellness includes the following therapies: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Hot Stone, Stretching, Shiatsu, and on-site chair massage. Layla is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
